Payment & Insurance Information

Insurance

Game On Psychology is an out-of-network provider and does not participate directly with any insurance companies. We do not submit claims or communicate with insurance providers on your behalf. Following payment, you will receive a paid itemized statement (superbill) containing the information typically required by insurance companies for out-of-network reimbursement. Clients may submit this documentation to their insurance carrier for possible reimbursement of covered services. Please note that reimbursement is determined solely by your insurance provider. Game On Psychology cannot guarantee reimbursement or verify individual benefit eligibility. We encourage you to contact your insurance company before beginning services to better understand your out-of-network benefits. Helpful questions to ask include:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • Am I eligible for reimbursement when seeing an out-of-network psychologist?

  • What is my deductible, and has it been met?

  • What percentage of services will be reimbursed?

  • Do I have coverage for psychological or neuropsychological evaluations?

  • How many therapy sessions are covered each year?

Payment

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Credit Cards

  • Debit Cards

  • HSA/FSA Cards

  • Checks

  • Cash

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, individuals who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services.

You have the right to:

  • Receive a written Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency healthcare services.

  • Request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services.

  • Receive your estimate at least one business day before your scheduled service.

  • Dispute a bill if the charges are at least $400 higher than the Good Faith Estimate you received.
